CONTRIBUTION TO PROFESSIONIALISM IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

BAR TRAINING

Two hour wine training with Oatley Wines, House of Fine Wines and Accolade Wines attended by 20 team members. The training highlighted new items after the menu was updated in August 2024.

We have partnered with Diageo Bar Academy – Raise the Bar – to give our team members FREE access to online training.

There is training for beginners to Managers, to level up their skills and experience. 

The platform sends routine emails with access to new and trending ideas, skills and training.

GAMING TRAINING

In May 2024 we partnered with DNS Consulting and introduced them to our team with a full team FOH training. Highlighting DNS role with our organisation to bring a higher level of customers service across the venue.

Manager Aimee held a detailed training session with Gaming Staff to introduce new processes and systems that were scheduled to be rolled out to enhance the gaming experience for our customer. With a strong focus on customer service and their experience. Along with discussing new promotional material that was being introduced.

Each year we place a focus on Gambling Harm Minimisation Week by sending key staff to a presentation session with Gambling Help QLD. This gives our staff an opportunity to gain knowledge and speak with industry leaders on best practice gaming and to discuss current trends and industry challenges.

RETAIL TRAINING

Bespoke activity with team members and key priority suppliers.

Armed Robbery awareness via Allara, to assist team in mitigating current in-store challenges.
