What time do you open?
We open from 9am each day, except for Sunday’s where we open for breakfast from 8am.
What time are you open until?
The Hotel is licensed until 2am, and we trade until late every night. We guarantee to trade until 2:30am in our gaming room 7 days a week.
What are your restaurant dining hours?
Monday – Saturday: 11.30am – 3.00pm & 5.30pm – 9pm
Sunday: 11.30am – 4.00pm & 5.30pm – 8:30pm
Our Pizza and Bar Snack Menu is available daily from 11.30am – 8.30 / 9pm
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes – on Sundays from 8am. Other days of the week we offer fruit toast, banana bread, cake and sweet slices from 9am, all of which go fabulously with our freshly ground barista coffee.
Do I have to book a table for the restaurant?
We are a popular dining destination, so bookings are recommended particularly on the weekend and for groups over 6 people. Click here to make a reservation
We do have some casual seating through the Moonlight Bar that we don’t assign reservations to with the aim to leave space for our “walk in” customers and for those just after a pint. Don’t forget we can serve meals to customers in our Osbourne Bar, where the beer is cold and the seats come easy.
Do you have the ability to accommodate large bookings?
We certainly do! Large groups can be catered for in many ways – as a finger food function, with a buffet, set menu in a private function room or as a la carte dining in our restaurant. Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes – please see our Menu Page. If you have any concerns or very specific requirements please contact our restaurant ahead of your booking so we can cater to your needs, by calling (07) 38690544 and ask to speak to a Duty Manager.
Do you allow BYO Celebration Cakes?
Yes, we allow our guests to bring a celebration cake to be served after their meals. Our options and fees are as follows:
Do you have heaters in your outside dining areas?
Yes, both inside and outside.
Is the Deck dining area weather proof?
Yes – we have a retractable roof and also clear plastic weather protectors to keep you warm and dry.
Can you purchase a meal for take-away?
Although we aren’t a take away restaurant (and therefore don’t have a dedicated take away menu), some of our dishes are available to do so. Contact our restaurant staff by calling (07) 38690544 if you would like to further enquire.
What time does the Full Moon Hotel Bottleshop (on Eagle Terrace) open and close?
The Bottleshop trades from 10am to 10pm and stays open to 11pm on Friday and Saturdays.
Does the Full Moon Hotel have other detached bottleshops in the local area?
Yes, 4 locations through Sandgate and Boondall. For locations and trading times please see the Bottleshop Page.
ACCESS TO OUR VENUE
Do you have car parking?
Yes. There is plenty of parking available at the Hotel as well as on the street.
Do you have Disability access?
Yes, we certainly do. We also have reserved disabled car spaces and we allow for assistance dogs at our venue.
Is there public transport nearby?
Our venue is only a very short walk to Sandgate and Shorncliffe train station and to several nearby bus stops and a taxi rank.
Do you have a kid’s room?
Yes. We request that you supervise your children at all times.
Do you cater for weddings?

Do you have private Function Room facilities?
Yes, we have dedicated Functions Rooms with wonderful views of Bramble Bay. Please see our Functions Page for more details.
Do you have accommodation?
Once upon a time, this 150 year old building was a boarding house with rooms on the 1st floor. Today, that space is used as Function Rooms. There are a number of local Bed & Breakfast’s that we can recommend, send an enquiry using the Contact Us Page.
Do you have TAB facilities?
Yes. TAB and Keno are available in our Osbourne Bar from 10am 7 days.
Do you have live music and entertainment through the week?
Yes. We provide live entertainment from 8pm on Friday and Saturdays and over lunch on Sundays, plus entertainment such as Trivia and Music Bingo during the week. Check our gig guide by clicking on the Whats On Page.

Do you have Foxtel?
Yes, we do. We show most sporting games on Foxtel and Free-To-Air TV through our large projector in the Moonlight Bar as well as on the wide screen TV’s in the Osbourne Bar and through the rest of the Hotel – just ask us if we don’t have it on and we can switch it on upon request.
What is the dress code there?
Neat and tidy attire and footwear must be worn throughout the Hotel.
Am I able to sit out the front with my dog?
We don’t allow pet dogs or any other animals at the venue, with an exception given to service / assistance animals.
Have a membership scheme?
Yes. Our Rewards Loyalty Program earns you points, prizes and ratings every time you use your membership card through out the venue and our four Bottlemart bottleshops. Membership forms are available from the restaurant counter, gaming room or bottleshop.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we can do vouchers of any value amount. Please pop in to see us to organise this.
