TEXAS STYLE BRISKET SANDWICH TO – DIE – FOR!03.05.2022: Hubby and I had lunch today and we both ordered the Texas Style Brisket sandwich.The serving was enormous and it came with chips and onions rings too. The smoked beef was fall apart, melt in your mouth tender, best ever. The slaw was perfect and the little bit of heat in the sauce was spot on. Nicest lunch I have had for a very long time.Thank you, will definitely return for the same.

We had a family lunch at The Full Moon today and it was so good, 5 stars. It’s been a while since we were last here and we loved the renovations, looks great. The atmosphere was buzzing, busy but relaxed, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I must recommend the beef, bacon and mushroom pie, it was absolutely delicious. In all, very enjoyable experience.

Went for lunch during the week and only just managed to get a table. Recommend booking as there were a lot of tables reserved. Great service and you can order from your table. We had the lunch time steak special which was lovely. Definitely going back.

I love going to the Full Moon. It’s always a bit busy, so it’s wise to make a booking (especially if it’s a larger party), but it is a great pub restaurant. The prices are good for what you get, and I’ve yet to be able to finish a plate, no matter how good my meal is. They have plenty of gluten free options, and as a coeliac, I’ve never had a contamination issue. If you like seafood, I’d recommend the prawns. They are 🥰

This place has finally got its mojo back. I used to go frequently however it became worse over time and the food was below average for quite a while. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised with my recent visit. The place looks great and most importantly the food was excellent

Very nice, very busy, very popular pub!!The menu is reasonable but we wish it had more starters to share.The bar has plenty to offer and satisfy everyone.🍾🍷🍻🍸🍹The stuff is very polite and attentive.We had a lovely catch up with family members looking at the beach❤

Super busy place for a Sunday lunch however got a table straight away. Parked on the street as the Carpark was full – no drama. Quick bar service and no line at the food order counter. Food took just over 25 minutes to arrive which was a bit long compared to other places we go however they were packed so figures. Live music playing which was nice and not too loud – so could still chat. The tables outside on the patio closest to the road seemed to have pleasant views of the ocean…. Will try to book next time. Also, plenty of staff around serving, clearing tables etc. We will be back at some stage.

What a great place! A great environment to relax and have a drink and food with a glimpse of the ocean. Hotel is clean and fresh. Food is good and drinks very reasonable. A great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon 👍.

Delightful staff, excellent decor and fantastic food with a great selection of craft beers on tap. We had such a lovely Valentine’s lunch here, I would absolutely recommend the seafood plate, we couldn’t jump over it! Incredible value for money, even though we live 40 minutes away, we’ll definitely be back.

My partner and I attended The Full Moon Hotel on a whim on a Wednesday night as we had never been there, and wow did it exceed expectations for something in the Sandgate area. We went there only for a quick drink but ended up staying for dinner because the food looked so good. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the staff were lovely and the food was fabulous. It was a very safe and friendly environment. The only thing that would make it perfect would be to have a me&u type code on the table so you can order straight from there rather than the bar. We will 110% be back! Highly recommended.

It was Epic. It’s been my local for ages, but haven’t been there in 18 months, so to see the new Reno style and the menu and the drink selection mage it even better. It is an excellent venue for light night, or big night, light feed or feast. I’d give it a 7 star rating if I could. And the staff, including the security, and great people!!!

My family had the most mouth watering meals at the Full Moon Hotel. The food was cooked to perfection. The flavours were delicious- you would have to visit the pub and order it for yourself as no amount of words could do it justice. Staff at the Full Moon were very attentive, very helpful and friendly.Special thank you to Jess, Kirra, Mark. Emily, thank you for the birthday brownies and ice cream. Chris and Xanthe and the amazing Curtis and Bar Staff. This is one venue we will definitely frequent as staff friendliness, food and drinks are of the highest standards.Thank you- the Hull Family.

Beautiful ocean views, fast and friendly service. We have a pram and they were very accommodating to our needs. Food arrived quickly and was amazing!! I highly recommend this place 😁
